Wismy Athouriste
Pastor Wismy Athouriste is a native of Haiti (Port-de-Paix) and has lived here in the US for more than 25 years. He is married to Marlene Athouriste and has 4 living children. Pastor Athouriste responded to God’s call in 1974.
He attended New Orleans Theological School. In 1995, Mr. Athouriste was ordained Pastor. Since then, he devoted all his life to serve God and his communities. With as little as 40 people, he started Eglise Baptiste de la Fraternité. Today, the church houses more than 1500 followers. Pastor Athouriste is a real leader. He has great plans for the church. In 2001, he acquires 6 1/2 acres of land located at 400 NW 161st street Miami, Florida that will house the new church. The church also just acquired a 1 acre land (Fraternity Inn) located in the North East corner of the future home of Fraternity Baptist Church.
Pastor Athouriste is an active member of the community and proudly takes leadership roles in many issues affecting the lives of his followers and the community at large.
